it's always fun to blow the boys' minds.
this weekend, i tivo'ed the nick kids' choice awards thinking that, despite their young age, jb and ab would get a kick out of the slime and burping and farting and that kind of stuff. i was spot on correct - but the best part actually occurred as soon as the show started.
ok, so the preshow ends and WHAM! the lights go down and immediately 12,000 kids start chanting the host's first name, which happens to be the same first name of one of the boys. then, while the crowd is madly chanting, the 15 foot high luminous onstage letters that spell out that same name kick on.
you should have seen the look on my children's faces when, for the slightest moment, it looked like a packed auditorium full of children was paying tribute to one of them.
now all i have to do is find an awards show hosted by someone with the other one's name, and i'll officially be king tivo of daddyland.

MB, this past weekend Stevie C postulated that Jack Black has jumped the shark by hosting a nick show...I set the mark at the Tenacious D movie being rated anything less than R...Your opinion please

jb seemed to pull it off - and my insightful prediction is that "tenacious d in the pick of destiny" will earn its 'R' within 5 minutes of the theater darkening.
